Many of the most experienced and talented freelance technicians in the nation belong to Local 305. We specialize in all aspects of sports, entertainment, and corporate television production. We represent the following crafts: TD, Audio Mixer, A2 and A3, Video Engineer, V2, Camera Operator (including robotics and jib), Graphics Operator, Graphic Coordinator, Capture Playback (EVS and RO) Stage Manager, Utility, Score box Operator, ENG Positions
Membership in local 305 gives you a voice. Only members are allowed to participate in contract negotiations, vote on Collective Bargaining Agreements, elect the local union leadership, and serve as union stewards or union officers. We encourage all freelancers to let your voice be heard by becoming a member of Local 305.
All of the employers who have signed the local 305 CBA (collective bargaining agreement) - our contract - have agreed to give preference of employment to the technicians who are on the Local 305 Referral List. Please refer to the Membership and Referral List section of this website for more information.
